So you want to know more about who is behind this site and its photos? Read on my internet friend!

Brief: 

I am a semi-serious/hobbist photographer based out of the Kwinana/Rockingham area of Western Australia.

Not so brief:

Having picked up my first DSLR in 2006, I have progressed from being a happy snapper with an expensive camera (I’m sure you all know the type) to being able to produce shots which I am proud to display on the internet for your consumption.

I have a young family which you can see around the blog posts as they tend to join in on the trips to locations where possible and enjoy nature while I battle the f stops and aperture sizes with nimble fingers.

Shooting landscapes and seascapes has become my passion when I pick up the camera, which I should credit to my mother who was a well known artist around Western Australia who loved to recreate nature and water scenes from around our great state. I grew up watching her spend hours at the easel creating wonders out of pastel, I always wanted to follow in her footsteps and be an artist; I guess I have found a way to do that with photography after all.
